Job Role : Engineering Stores Administrator

GCB Cocoa UK is a Chocolate and Cocoa processor based in Suffolk and are currently seeking an Engineering Stores Administrator to join the team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Engineering stores stock level management including but not limited to:
    • Rolling Stock Take
    • End of year Stock Take
    • Restocking used parts
  • Purchasing spares based upon:
    • Spare part usage
    • Maintenance and Health and Safety consumables
    • General parts and consumable ordering
  • Restocking used parts
  • Administration for issuing and updating Planned and unplanned works orders.
  • Be the Key lead user for the Engineering data base.
  • Creating reports from the database
  • Updating spares usage
  • Creating new parts orders
  • Create new and maintain current standard operating procedures.
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Must have basic Engineering understanding to be able to identify spare parts.
  • Self-starter; Able to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Honest and Reliable.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office

The ideal candidate will be a team player as well as self-motivated. Key attributes will include someone who pays particular attention to detail and who carries out their duties to a high standard with confidence, honesty, and passion.

Vertically integrated supply chain servicing a new Purpose Built Facility with a traditional liquid manufacturing process and a notable range of solid chocolate options. Fully segregated dairy free dark production line for a range of both solid and liquid chocolates.

A cocoa processing facility is planned on the same site with operations starting in 2024. Future expansions for both chocolates and semi finished to follow.
